Our high-performance society can’t get enough of education, but this brings with it problems such as school stress and elitism. Some parents feel obliged to act like producers and thrust their children onto the stage. In my talk, I examine the question of what school children need today. My answer? The school of the future is an achievement-oriented, more potential-oriented, equal-opportunity establishment. And it likewise attaches weight to acquiring interdisciplinary skills.
