Discussing "rare earths, poverty, saving energy, media reflection and environmental pollution" with children may not sound particularly fun. But how about talking about their smartphones? That's the concept behind our teaching material "How valuable is a smartphone?". By not treating sustainability as a topic in its own right, but bringing it to life through their beloved mobile phones, we can teach cycle 2 children about the complex interrelationships in an understandable way.
