Our high-performance society can’t get enough of education, but this brings with it problems such as school stress and elitism. Some parents feel obliged to act like producers, thrusting their children onto the stage. In my talk, I examine what type of school the children of today really need. My answer? The school of the future is an achievement-oriented and more potential-oriented establishment that ensures equal opportunities and also places sufficient emphasis on acquiring interdisciplinary skills.
